Mechanical Project Technician

Working within the Project and asset care engineering function, responsible for the installation of mechanical equipment site wide for projects and modifications. Inspection and testing of mechanical equipment and assets both statutory and non- statutory in line with appropriate standards. This is a weekday role 08:00 hrs to 16:15 hrs, and will report to the Project & Asset Engineering Manager.

We are looking for an individual with a recognised mechanical engineering apprenticeship background incorporating relevant City & Guilds or equivalent qualifications. A coded welder in carbon and stainless steel who is able to work from engineering drawings to fabricate and install pipework across site. Pumps/valves and pneumatic systems knowledge would be advantageous however a training and development programme will be provided.
